Ramon Jett Missing Person Riverdale Georgia United States, Urgent search underway for non-verbal 6-year-old boy
An urgent and expansive search is currently underway in Riverdale, Georgia, as authorities work tirelessly to locate 6-year-old Ramon Jett, a non-verbal child who disappeared on Sunday.
According to the Clayton County Police Department, Ramon—also known as “RJ”—was last seen between 11:30 a.m. and 12:00 p.m. at the Sutter Lake Apartments located at 8104 Webb Road.
Ramon is described as approximately 3 feet 5 inches tall, weighing about 40 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes. At the time of his disappearance, he was wearing a light green shirt, camouflage shorts, and white socks.
Due to his condition, authorities say the situation is especially critical, as Ramon is non-verbal and may be unable to communicate or seek help. Police have deployed drones, K-9 units, and search teams as part of a large-scale effort to find him.
Officials are urging residents, particularly those in the Webb Road area, to thoroughly check their properties, including yards, porches, sheds, wooded areas, and any place a child might seek shelter. Concerns have also been raised about nearby bodies of water, including Joy Lake, which is located close to where the child was last seen.
Authorities are asking anyone who may have seen Ramon or has information about his whereabouts to call 911 immediately. Non-emergency tips can also be directed to the Clayton County Sheriff’s Office at 770-477-4479.
The circumstances surrounding Ramon’s disappearance remain unclear, and the investigation is ongoing as the community rallies together in hopes of bringing him home safely.
